Decks built right. Decks rebuilt right.

New build, board replacement, full refinish, or a railing fix — outdoor-living work from the same company you're already trusting with your lawn.

Decks by Versa Property Management

Why this work matters.

A deck is the most-used room of the house from May through October — and the first place a home shows its age. Versa builds new decks, repairs and rebuilds existing ones, and refinishes (sand, stain, seal) decks that are still structurally sound but need to look new again.

The advantage of bundling deck work with your existing Versa property care: one number to call, the same company that already knows the property, one walkthrough at the end. Most clients pair deck work with a spring cleanup or a landscaping refresh so the whole backyard hits the season looking finished.

What's included.

  • New deck design + build (composite or pressure-treated lumber)
  • Existing deck inspection + structural repair
  • Board replacement and full re-decking on existing frames
  • Railing + baluster replacement (code-compliant heights)
  • Sanding, staining, and sealing for sun-faded decks
  • Hardware re-tighten + lag bolt replacement

How we work.

1. Walk the deck.

Cameron checks structure (joists, posts, ledger), surface, railings, and stairs. You get an honest read on what actually needs to happen.

2. Scope + materials.

You pick: pressure-treated, cedar, or composite (Trex / TimberTech). Quote is flat with the material spec called out.

3. Build / repair.

New construction follows the local code (joist span, post depth, railing height). Repairs swap in new material that matches the existing as closely as possible.

4. Finish + warranty.

Stained and sealed (or composite walked clean). One-year workmanship warranty.

Common questions.

Pressure-treated vs. composite — which?
Pressure-treated is cheaper up front but needs re-staining every 2-3 years. Composite is roughly double the material cost but zero maintenance for 25+ years. We'll walk through the math with you.
Can you save my old deck or do I need a new one?
Most decks under 15 years old can be re-decked on the existing frame for ~40-60% of new-build cost. We'll inspect and tell you honestly.
Do you handle the permit?
For new builds and major rebuilds where local code requires it — yes, we pull the permit and meet the inspector.
Can I get just the railings replaced?
Yes. Railing-only jobs are common — old wood railings to code-height aluminum or composite is a one-day swap on most decks.
